The Jury is pleased to announce that the following papers have been selected for presentation during the Junior Confrences : 

 

-Risk and reliability collision aversion model for inland waterways: the case frequency estimation for Malaysia's Langat River

MARISK 2012 will also serve as a window for academic studies. Junior conferences will be organised in parallel of plenary sessions to present studies by young Scientists from Universities and Research Institutes.

On this occasion, a MARISK 2012 Excellence Award will be assigned. Its objective will be to promote qualitative research and stimulate the emergence of young researchers.

SELECTION CRITERIA

  • PhD student, engineer, Master 2 qualified
  • French or English text
  • Relevant positioning of the treated subject in regard of Conferences themes (safety, security, environment)
  • The paper project should be approved by a referent (Professor, Research Director, ...)

CONDITIONS AND DEADLINES

  • The deadline for sending papers is September 30, 2011 and should be sent to: MARISK2012@hydro-nantes.org
  • The papers will be selected by the jury and candidates will receive the results by November 2nd 2011
  • Documents should be all rights free.
  • Each presentation will last 20 minutes followed by 10 minutes of questions and answers
  • Presentation could also be a result of a group or binomial work
  • Papers should not exceed one page (approx. 300 words)
  • Registration for the Forum will be waived and transportation of authors of a selected paper will be covered by the Forum (flat rate)
  • The MARISK 2012 Excellence Prize will be awarded to the best paper on Friday 27 January, 2012
